Jeans have been a wardrobe staple for decades, but they haven’t always been the most comfortable. We think of traditional denim as being rigid and lacking in flexibility. We're all familiar with the break-in period to get your jeans to fit just right and how inconsistent this can be. But what if jeans didn’t have to feel that way? What if they moved with you and felt as good as activewear while looking like classic heritage denim?
When we first launched Halara knit denim in 2022, the response was great, but we knew we could improve upon the concept. We analyzed what worked and made changes. In 2023, we enhanced our fabric by increasing the cotton content and adjusting the thickness for improved softness and comfort. We also updated the designs with more timeless details to ensure our jeans look as good as they feel. These improvements led to the success of our Halara Flex Denim drop in 2024, which was a game-changer in athleisure-inspired jeans.
We challenged the idea of traditional denim with our innovative knit denim fabric and found inspiration through nature. Our fabric engineers took inspiration from the cool hand feel while holding jade stones and used this concept to create some of our cool-to-the-touch denim styles. These pants are a far cry from the "jeggings" of years past—these comfy jeans are the real deal, with flex and breathability that moves with you.

We take pride in preserving the craftsmanship of traditional denim finishing techniques, including hand-whiskering and fading. Once a staple in denim artistry, these intricate processes require skilled artisans to carefully etch patterns into the fabric, creating a one-of-a-kind, lived-in look.
